In loving memory of

Deborah "Deb" D. Boeck
February 6, 1957 - February 13, 2021

Madison/Verona - Deborah (Deb) D. Boeck, age 64, passed away on Saturday, February 13, 2021. She was born on February 6, 1957 to Lawrence and Wilma (Benninger) Gabbei.

Deb worked at Amatos for 15 years, there she made lifelong friends and family. Rose and Sam helped shape her into the person she was. She spent the last 29 years employed with UW Health Hospital and Clinics prior to retiring in 2016. Every patient she met held a special place in her heart and she was sad to say "see you later" upon her retirement. While working with UW, she volunteered countless hours to Drive to Share and played the role of elf helping families in need.

She will forever be remembered for her love of family and friends, her generosity and her love for grocery shopping, cooking and catering parties even until the end. The love of her life was her 5 grandchildren who she was so proud of.

Deb is survived by her children, Michael, Jennifer (Kyle) and Kyle. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, Elizabeth and Landon Beicher, Aubree, Rylee and Kaylee Thompson. 3 sisters (Mary, Lynn, Karen) and 2 brothers (Fred and Leonard).

She was proceeded in death by her father, mother, sister and grandparents.

The family will be holding a celebration of life at Draft House in Verona on Thursday 2/25/21 from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM.

Thank you Agrace HospiceCare for everything you did to help our family.

In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated.

"I knew Deb over the years at UW. When we hadn't seen each other for a few years it was like it was only a week. We would always catch up when I had lab or radiology work done @ the clinic. Can't believe it's been 5 years since she retired! I still think of her every time I am at the check-in. Very sorry for your loss. And, the loss of so many people who benefitted from her generosity. She really was a powerhouse for donations and collections!! She has been missed since her retirement and will be missed more. "

"If I remember correctly, Deb was the unit clerk on B4/6 at UW Hospital. She was always bubbly and happy and VERY helpful. She catered my husband's graduation party in 1994. I remember her AWESOME carrot cake and chocolate dipped strawberries. She went above and beyond. Our condolences on your loss. Helen and Brian "

"Though I never had the privilege of meeting her, I can only imagine what a wonderful person and mother she must have been based on knowing her daughter Jenny. My prayers go out for the entire family, and all her friends, whose lives were most closely touched and by whom her absence will be most acutely felt. I pray God's comfort, peace, and strength be with you all. -Matt Emerson"
