MARCIA LANFIER SEELIG
BROWNSBURG, Indiana - Marcia Lanfier Seelig, 79, formerly of Muscatine, passed away on Tuesday, February 16, 2021, at Hendricks Regional Hospital.

There will be a private service. Burial will be in Nichols Cemetery. The Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be made to the family, in care of Stanley. Online condolences may be made at www.wittichfuneralhome.com.

Marcia was born on August 31, 1941, in Iowa City, the daughter of Clarence and Gladys Fridley Hillyer. She married Stanley S. Seelig on February 17, 2007, in Waukegan, Illinois.

She was a member of the Marshalltown Moose Lodge and enjoyed bowling, music, adult coloring, and collectables.

She is survived by her husband, Stanley S. Seelig of Avon, Indiana; three sons, Gary Lanfier Jr. and his wife, Megan, of Marshalltown, Iowa, Ray Lanfier and his wife, Gail, of Bluegrass, Iowa, and Jay Lanfier of Watertown, South Dakota; three step-children, Aaron Seelig and his wife, Samantha, of Avon, Indiana, Jennifer Seelig of Chicago, Illinois, and Ryan Seelig of New York, New York; 11 grandchildren, Emma, Ellie, Eva, Logan, Benjamin, Jonathan, Caleb, Ethan, Zachary, Anderson, and Lillian; one sister, Connie Flake of Burlington, Iowa; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; two step-sisters, Cheryl Jones of Sudbury, Massachusetts, and Roberta Hoffman of Farmingdale, New York; and her beloved cat, Abby.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Gary Lanfier Sr. in 1997; her brother-in-law, Leroy Flake; and a nephew, Timothy Flake.
