"Jim was a great in-law and friend. He always welcomed people into the family with warmth and kindness. He is missed by everyone who was lucky enough to know him. He was always ready to help others and he will be greatly missed."
"Jim has been a big part of my life since I was twelve years old. Him, Karen, Zak and Jeremy helped shape me in to the person I am today. I am forever grateful to have had the opportunity to know him and beyond thankful for all of the lessons, morals, and humor Jim has shared with me along the way. "
"For well over 50 years Jim and I shared a deep and rich friendship. We shared a passion for music, art and the world of ideas. Separated only by distance in later life, I came to see the powerful love and care he held for his wife, sons and grandchildren. Although I have deep sadness for the loss of my dear friend, I feel so fortunate to have known Jim and for all that we shared. Peace and strength to all his loving family."
