Quintin Ray Moore
March 28, 1971 - March 3, 2021

Quintin Ray Moore, 49, of rural Geneva, passed away peacefully at his home Tuesday, March 3, 2021. He was born March 28, 1971, in Hampton, to Ray and Joan (Rewerts) Moore.

Quintin graduated from Hampton High School, class of 1989. He was united in marriage to Stacey Janssen on February 12, 2000, in Hampton. They were married for twenty years and from this union he gained a daughter, and another was born, Chantal and Jalissa. He was incredibly proud of his girls and would tell anyone who would listen. Most recently, Quintin loved working for the City of Hampton. He was a hard worker in all of his occupations. Quintin was a member of Faith Baptist Church, the National Rifle Association and was a donor to Life 101.9. He wanted everyone to know Jesus. He enjoyed cooking, shooting guns and fixing things. His family and church were very important to him. Quintin loved spending time with his family watching movies, joking around, and playing games. He especially enjoyed being a Grandpa.

Quintin is survived by his daughters Chantal (Dustin) Sefcik of Humboldt and Jalissa Moore of Hampton; grandson Wesley Sefcik of Humboldt and grandbaby Sefcik; mother Joan Moore of Hansell; sisters Jennie (Dean) Mayer of Hampton and Barbie (Steve) Waechter of Hampton; nephews Jeremiah (Jenny) Junker of Cedar Rapids, Joshua Junker of Mason City, Andrew Mayer of Hampton and Daniel Mayer of Hampton, as well as his beloved buddy Shaq.

He was preceded in death by his father Ray Moore and nephew Jordan Junker.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Quintin's family and mailed to PO Box 403, Hampton, Iowa, 50441.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Friday, March 12, 2021, at Faith Baptist Church in Hampton. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, March 13, 2021, at Faith Baptist Church in Hampton. Burial will take place in the Ingham Township Cemetery in rural Hansell.
