Robert 'Little Abner' Yocom Services: 11 a.m. Friday, March 18, Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Funeral Home, 2907 Mulberry Ave. Visitation: 9 a.m. until service time Friday, funeral home. MUSCATINE, Iowa #45;- Robert G. 'Little Abner' Yocom, 64, Muscatine, died Tuesday, March 15, 2005, at Meadowlawn Nursing Home, Davenport. The Rev. Brenda Booth will officiate the services. Casket bearers are Mike Yocom, Rodney Yocom, Robert Lanfier, Gary Mathis and Doug Fry. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery. After the burial, a time of food and fellowship will be held in the Community Room at the funeral home. A memorial has been established at the funeral home. Mr. Yocom was born Dec. 12, 1940, in Muscatine, the son of George F. and Fern A. Honts Yocom. He was formerly employed at Primer Mover and loved driving his truck to gather used items to pass on to others. Survivors include three daughters, Sandra Bellew and husband, Ed, Brenda Marshall and husband, Todd, and Lisa Linville and husband, Dave, all of Lebanon, Ore.; a brother, Donald 'Yogi' Yocom and wife, Mary, of Muscatine; two sisters, Charlein Lanfier and husband, Bob, and Janet Burr, all of Muscatine; and four grandchildren, Stephanie Maynard, Nikki Powell, Dylan Marshall and Brad Linville, all of Lebanon. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and one brother and sister in infancy.
