Lorraine D. Barnes, age 94, of Rochester, MN passed away Saturday, March 6, 2021 at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester, MN.

Lorraine Dorothy Barnes was born July 23, 1926 in Rochester, MN the daughter of Paul and Bertha (White) Bolduan. Lorraine was united in marriage to Warren Barnes on March 14, 1953 at Trinity Lutheran Church and they made their home in Rochester. In her earlier years, Lorraine worked as medical secretary for Mayo Clinic until her family grew and she was a stay at home mom. She later worked as a secretary for the Rochester School District with most years at Elton Hills until her retirement in 1985.

Lorraine and Warren enjoyed traveling to visit National Parks and family, spending winters in Las Vegas. She liked word finds, reading, crossword puzzles, cooking and especially knitting baby booties.

She is survived by her children, Jean (Dennis) Southwick of Rochester, MN, Karen Barnes of Mankato, MN and James Barnes of Rochester, MN; grandchildren, Jesse, Tara, Jason and Amanda; great-grandchildren, Micayla, Catherine, Ashleigh, Zxione and Keonella, brother, Paul (Arleta) Bolduan of Winona, MN. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Warren, brother, Clarence Bolduan and sister, Joyce Bolduan.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Friday, March 12, 2021 at Trinity Lutheran Church 222 6th Ave. SW, Rochester, MN. Interment will be at Oakwood Cemetery in Rochester.
