Barbara Gaul Funeral service: 11 a.m. Thursday, April 7, Fry Funeral Home, Tipton. Visitation: 4-7 p.m., tonight, funeral home. TIPTON, Iowa - Barbara Doreen Gaul, 74, of Tipton, died Monday, April 4, 2005 at the University of Iowa Hospitals amp; Clinics in Iowa City after an accidental fall at home. The Rev. Jonathon Smith will officiate. Burial will be at the Rose Hill Cemetery, Mechanicsville. A memorial for Barbara has been established. Barbara was born Dec. 6, 1930 in Dixon, Ill., the daughter of Arthur Haynes and Christina Kent Haynes. A 1948 graduate of Dixon High School, Barbara married Kenneth Alvin Gaul. Barbara was a caregiver at Cedar Manor Nursing Home and a member of the Tipton Bible Church. She was also a member of the Tri Sigmas amp; Bridge Club. Survivors include her husband; daughter, Sunday C. Strickler and husband, Thomas, of Angleton, Texas; sons, Stanley K. Gaul, of Granger, Texas, Bradley K. Gaul and wife, Jill, of Tipton, Kenric A. Gaul and wife, Jean, of Carrollton, Texas and Eric G. Gaul and wife, Julie, of Tampa Fla.; 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Charles Haynes.
