Joan A. Dorando, on March 19, 2021, of Runnemede. Age 85.

Beloved wife for 60 years of Frank "Spanky" Dorando. Devoted mother of Steven Dorando (Ann), Marge Walsh (Michael), Maria Martorano (Nick), Theresa Raynor (Scott), and Fran Carpenter (Jeff). Loving Grandmom of Jena, Zachary, Alyssa (Adam), Shane, Conrad, Sam, Eric, Julia, Mia, Megan, Madison, Steven, Vincent, Michael, Joseph and Anthony. Loving Aunt of Mary Ann, Dorothea, and the McGowan, Donahue, and Graeff familes. Joan is also survived by her beloved caretaker Anya.

Joan was loving and caring to all. Born to be a mother to all, she enjoyed cooking, and hosting all team parties. Joan was a devout member of Holy Child Parish, and enjoyed her trips to the casino. Most of all, Joan loved, and was loved by her family, especially her late husband Frankie.
There will be a viewing on Wednesday from 8:15am to 10:15am at the GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, RUNNEMEDE.

Funeral Mass 11am Wednesday, at Holy Child Parish, St. Teresa's RC Church, Runnemede.

Interment St. Joseph's Cemetery, Chews Landing

We hope that it will be safe to gather in August for a Dorando Team dinner celebrating Joanie.

"We enjoyed living next door to Joan and Frank for many years. the trips to the casino and the yearly St Theresa Carnival in the summer. The gardens we managed and shared produce was a treat we shared all summer into the fall. We miss them both so much. Condolences to the family. I loving memory, Sandy and John Niblic"
