In loving memory of

Lori Lynn Sheridan
July 24, 1959 - March 20, 2021

Lori L. Sheridan, 61, of Rochester, passed away early Saturday morning March 20, 2021 in her home surrounded by her family. She was born to Harley and Emily (Nielsen) Johnson of Rochester, MN, on July 24,1959. Lori attended school in Rochester.

Lori married Von S. Sheridan on September 11, 1982. They made their home in Rochester where they raised two children, Andrew and Caitlyn. Lori worked for the Post Bulletin company for 32 years until her illness forced her retirement in 2020. She had the privilege of working with countless great people over the course of her career and made many lasting friendships. Lori was a kind, generous, gentle person who always put other people's needs before her own. She put the 'extra' in ordinary. She understood that every day was a blessing and that they should be treated as such.

Lori is survived by her husband of 38 years, Von, their two children, Andrew (Whitney) Sheridan of New Brighton, MN, Caitlyn (Adam) Rietmann of Harmony, MN, four grandsons that were her pride and joy; Carter, Calin, Jase, and Nehemiah; her mother, Emily Johnson, brother Greg (Luann) Johnson, mother-in-law ,Mary Sheridan, sister-in-law, Elizabeth Sheridan (John) Rammer; and nieces, Melissa Johnson, Gina Johnson and Emily Johnson. Lori was preceded in death by her father, Harley Johnson, and father-in-law Robert Sheridan.

Lori's family would sincerely like to thank the staff at Seasons Hospice for the exceptional care rendered during the last months of Lori's life.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to Minnesota Ovarian Cancer Alliance (MOCA) (mnovarian.org), Seasons Hospice Rochester, MN, or the Sheridan family.
