KIMBERLEE MURPHY MUSCATINE, Iowa - Kimberlee Kay Murphy, 37, of Muscatine, died Wednesday morning, June 29, 2005, due to a fire in her home. Memorial Service will be 3 p.m. Saturday, July 2, 2005, at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home. Pastor Ronald G. Yohe, Chaplin of Bickford Cottage will officiate the service. Honorary bearers will be Mike Murphy, Jimmy Hoover, Kevin Scott, Luke Hall, Gordon Esmoil, and Richie Cole. Friends and family will gather at the American Legion following the Memorial Service. Visitation will be from Noon to 3 p.m. Saturday, July 2, 2005, at the funeral home. The family requests casual attire. Kim was born on December 24, 1967, at the Beale Air Force Base in California, the daughter of William L. and Sheila Cole Behrend. She had been married to Brett Busch and Michael Murphy. She graduated from Muscatine High School in 1986 and Scott Community College in nursing. She worked as a registered nurse for over 10 years. Kim enjoyed Harley Davidson Motorcycles, country western music, rodeo's, and most of all her new grandson. Survivors include one son, Brock M. Busch and friend, Danielle Benac of Muscatine; one daughter, Kaitlyn M. Busch of Muscatine; one grandson, Bryson M. Busch of Muscatine; her parents, William and Sheila Behrend of Muscatine; and several aunts and uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandparents.
