HENRY ZLANDO
MUSCATINE, Iowa - Henry Zlando, 17, of Muscatine, passed away on Saturday, March 13, 2021.

There will be a funeral service from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 17, 2021, at Calvary Church. Reverend Yenner Wuanti will be officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. The Ralph J. Wittich Riley-Freers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be made to Henry's family, in care of his mother Kuo Zuo. Henry was born April 23, 2003, in Africa, the son of Kuo Zuo.

Henry was a student at the Iowa School for the Deaf in Council Bluffs. He would have graduated in May of 2021. Henry enjoyed playing sports. He played basketball, baseball, football, and ran track. Henry always had a big smile on his face. He enjoyed music, dancing, and playing video games. Henry loved children. He loved his nieces and nephews.

Those left to honor his memory include his mother, Kuo Zuo and her husband, Joe Willie, of Muscatine; eight siblings, Luah Suah and her husband, Dar Moore, of Muscatine, Mamie Zuah and her husband, Abraham, Emmanuel Zuo, Abednego Mangou all of Africa, Comfort Mangou, Cecelia Mangou, Neomi Willie, and Angel Willie all of Muscatine; his grandmother, Workapoe Dayba of Texas; his uncles Justin Zuo of Muscatine and John M. Zuo of Fargo, North Dakota; many nieces and nephews; family friend, Mercy Vaye of Cedar Rapids; and many other loving family members.

He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Joseph Worsla Zuo.
