James Anderson
December 31, 1936 - March 26, 2021

James Anderson passed peacefully on March 26, 2021. Of Erial formerly of Camden, Fairview Section. Age 84. Devoted husband of Nancy. Beloved father of Nancy Kelly Gentile (Bob) and Patti Smerechenski (Robert). Cherished Pop Pop of Stephanie, Jamie, Alexis, and Andrew. He was a brother of 9. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. James was a Sargent for Camden City Police Department and proudly served in the U.S. Marines. James was an active member of F.O.P. Superior Officers Lodge #144. He was a horseback rider, loved hunting, avid gardener, who was famous for his tomatoes, and a collector of chickens.

There will be a visitation Friday April 2nd from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, RUNNEMEDE.

"I've known Jim most of my life.? Met him Back when he was an officer in Fairview . Worked with him many years driving the bus for Senior Services. The clients just loved jim.What a loving husband and loveing father & grandfather. One of the kindest man in every way. He would give you the shirt off his back. I so enjoyed sitting down having chats with Jim. I'm glad I had a chat with him in the last few weeks.?..One stand up guy. My heart is broken.
