"Dear Aunt Betty, Cindy, Ellen, Andrew & Families... Please accept our most heartfelt condolences, as we share your sorrow and empathize with your loss. Having just been through this with Dad, we have great compassion and are holding you all close in our hearts, thoughts and prayers. Uncle Dave was beloved by our entire King family, and we are SO grateful for the decades of family picnics and Christmas gatherings that he & Aunt Bette hosted; a tradition continued by you, their children. It's a priceless legacy of family love and shared memories that we will cherish forever. THANK YOU!!! We also reflect and celebrate the "brotherhood" shared by him & Dad. Not only was Uncle Dave a groomsmen in Mom/Dad's wedding, but their friendship continued through healthier years. They went our for weekly dinners and celebrated birthdays @ The Wm. Penn Inn. Mom/Aunt Bette shared January birthdays & Dad/Uncle Dave shared May. How fitting that both "brothers" passed in March 2021 and will celebrate their upcoming May birthdays together in Heaven with parents, siblings and friends. They are sorely missed, but will be forever in our hearts and minds, while you each remain in our thoughts and prayers. GOD BLESS & KEEP YOU!!! With Much Love...--Karen & Tom XOXO"
