"Friend: A person whom one knows well and is fond of. This definition doesn't begin to describe my friend Joe. I've known Joe for over 40 years and from the first time we met Joe always made me feel welcome and at home. Joe's first thoughts were always about his friends or guests and how to make them feel as comfortable as possible. He was always there when you needed help or just to lend an ear. It's hard to pick one quality of Joe's that stood out, but if I did it would be how genuine of a person he was! Joe's priorities in life were his family and friends and I will miss him dearly, but I feel fortunate to have been able to call him a friend and to have had him in my life. A life well lived my friend, rest well. Myron Maxwell"

"Since our high school days, I always enjoyed Joe?s sense of humor and our shared interest in music. For the last twenty years, I was privileged to have been able to re-connect with Joe. We shared many good times at numerous concerts, on Outdoor Club of South Jersey trips, and at meetings of the Sons of the Jukebox Society. A generous man, Joe could always be counted on to help you in times of need. And he would brighten your day by sharing his corny jokes and his wonderful food concoctions. You will be sorely missed, my friend. RIP Frank & Eileen Flynn"
