Mrs. Kathy Ann Sauro, age 70, passed away Thursday, March 25, 2021 with her husband and daughters by her side. She was born in Muskegon, MI on November 21, 1950 to James & Dorothy (Elliott) Geeting. Kathy served her country in the US Marine Corps before marrying Michael Paul Sauro Jr. on June 9, 1973. She retired in 2008 after working for Mercy Health for 28 years. Kathy enjoyed watching her grandson play percussion in marching and concert bands and traveling around the country, especially to Virginia Beach to visit her nephew & niece Tony and Erica Backer, and their girls Taja and Chan. Kathy always enjoyed the phone conversations she had with her nephew Thomas Richard (Michele) Backer. She loved her cat, Maggie, and spending time with family & friends.


SURVIVORS
Her loving husband of 47 years, Michael Paul Sauro Jr.; daughters, Stacey (Matthew) Daugherty & Angela (Jason) Hooker; grandson, Brady Daugherty; her sister, Laura and brother Bryce; her aunt Pearl, nieces, nephews, and many cousins & friends. She was preceded in death by her son Michael Paul Sauro III and grandparents, parents, aunts, uncles, and brothers.


MEMORIAL SERVICE
Saturday, April 17, 2021, 1:00 PM at First Evangelical Lutheran Church with Pastor Bill Uetricht officiating.

Saturday, April 17, 2021 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at First Evangelical Lutheran Church.
