Joseph A. DeLuca, Sr., on April 6, 2021, of Glassboro; formerly of Washington Township. Age 86.

Beloved husband of Roberta (nee Resavy) for 22 years. Devoted father of Betty Jane Buinicky (Jim), Joseph DeLuca Jr. (Kelli), Jeannie Smith (John), Matthew DeLuca, Tammy Mano (Jimmy), Scott Deluca and the late Mark DeLuca. Dear step father to Robert Bjork, Michelle Kairn, Jamie Wine and Ryan Wine. Joseph was a grandfather of 10, great-grandfather of 10 and a great-great-grandfather of 2. Loving brother of Dolores Hanser. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Joseph proudly served in the US Navy during the Korean conflict. He enjoyed playing cards at the clubhouse and spending time at the casinos. Joseph was a founding member of the American Legion Post # 281. He loved to travel and spend time with Roberta.

There will be a visitation from 6pm to 8:30pm on Friday evening and 10am to 11am on Saturday at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, RUNNEMEDE.

Memorial service 11am at the funeral home.

Inurnment Gloucester County Veterans Cemetery, Williamstown.

"Every child dreads the day when they lose a parent. On April 6 I lost my father. A lot of funny memories are with my dad. His sense of humor was one of a kind. His good looks and never aged face always had a smile. I couldn?t be there a lot but you were always in my heart and will remain there.
