Louise W. Markley
April 6, 1927 - April 3, 2021
Louise W. Markley, of Ambler, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 3, 2021, at the Artman Lutheran Home in Ambler. She was 93 years old.
Born in Philadelphia, Louise was the daughter of the late Harry and Katherine (Stevens) Markley.
Miss Markley was a graduate of Germantown High School and attended Germantown Hospital School of Nursing. She became a registered nurse while serving her country as a member of the Cadet Nurse Corps. After the war, she worked at Germantown Hospital.
Louise was a member of the Ambler Business and Professional Women. She was a long time member and Music Librarian of the Grace Baptist Sanctuary Choir.
Louise is survived by her dear sister Kathleen Viall, of Ambler. She is the loving Aunt of Kathleen Gallagher and her husband Joseph; and Frank Viall, Jr and his wife Molly. She is the great aunt of Scott Viall.
Relatives and friends are invited to Louise's Funeral Service at 11:00 AM on Friday, April 9, 2021, at Grace Baptist Church of Blue Bell, 437 Skippack Pike, Blue Bell, PA 19422, with Rev. David Braneky officiating. Interment is private.
