Margie R Boyer (Glickman) born 3/9/1931 peacefully passed 3/11/2021, 2 days after her 90th Birthday. Graduated from Franklin High School. Married 40 years to William E Boyer, raised and survived by 4 children, Allen Boyer, Nancy Early, John Boyer, & Janet Baker. Blessed with 3 granddaughters, Michelle McDuffie, Melissa Hernandez, & Brittney Burchiel. 3 great grandchildren, Allyson, Jordan, and Scarlett. Her life was dedicated to her family which brought her great joy and pride.
Throughout her life, Margie resided in California, Seattle, Renton, and her last home was in Auburn, WA at Manor Care AFH.
Margie's career began with UW Medical Center, and other Clerical/C/S positions. In her later years she was introduced to Mary Kay Cosmetics where she earned the title of Sales Director, training & mentoring her team of recruits. She also had the opportunity to meet Mary Kay Ash. A tremendous highlight in her life. She sold Mary Kay cosmetics for almost 20 years enjoying every minute of it, and customers loved the energy and dedication that Margie gave to her business, she was always dressed for success.
Margie was creative and talented in many ways. Needlework was her passion. Crocheting, knitting, sewing, etc. Her work was displayed in all her homes. She also worked at a porcelain doll shop, and became a doll maker herself, with a collection of over 200+ dolls. This was more than a hobby, as Margie sold many of her creations to include custom bed-dolls, & very beautiful, intricate clothing for Barbie's. She also enjoyed piano playing and music brought her great joy. Holidays were always a treat when she played, and family sang along.
Margie will be remembered for her tenderness, sensitivity, passion, and loving spirit from everyone that knew her. Her belief in God and enduring faith was an inspiration to all.
