"I joined the Parkwood Soccer team when I was in 4th grade. Coach Kevin was one of two coaches for the year round travel team. He was a really nice coach and we respected him. He motivated the team, always gave me positive good feedback and encouraged teamwork. The constant learning of new skills and techniques molded me into a great soccer player. There was a year where Coach Kevin co-coached with my Dad on a CYO team. I remember many long drives to away games with Coach Kevin, KJ, me and my Dad? good times. I entered high school playing on the Varsity team and I attribute that to the great coaching by Coach Kevin and Coach Pat from that Parkwood team. Coach Kevin was passionate about soccer and committed to every player. I have many great memories of my childhood soccer Parkwood years. Thank you Coach Kevin and RIP. My condolences to Desiree, Kiersten, Karli and KJ and rest of family. Kevin Walsh"

"Desiree and family, You already know this about Kevin but hearing about the impact this man made on life is different coming from someone on the outside. I remember a very kind, warm-hearted, and humble man who never had any pity for himself and his struggles. He was very friendly and welcoming with open arms. I am so grateful for him being a part of Nick?s life, taking the mantle of godfather, and molding him into the amazing person he is today. It?s been 20+ years, but his footprint has always stayed with me and I will miss him like it was yesterday. Much love and blessings, Tom Marino"
