Schenkel, 32, Tipton, died Friday, Dec. 2, 2005, in Wilton. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Riley Schenkel trust fund. Mr. Schenkel was born March 30, 1973, in Iowa City, the son of Rolland Schenkel III and Jerilynn (Fry). He was employed at I.P.C. as a mechanic in the maintenance department. He enjoyed fishing, camping, NASCAR, winter activities and 4-wheeling but mostly spending time with his son, Riley. Survivors include his father, Rolland Schenkel III and wife Marsha of Muscatine; his mother, Jeri (Schenkel) Huen of Wilton; his fianc?...½e, Tina Cline of Tipton; a son, Riley Schenkel of Olin; a stepson, Mike Maiani of Tipton; paternal grandfather, Rolland Schenkel Jr. of Moline, Ill.; paternal grandmother, Peggy Schenkel of Muscatine; maternal grandmother, Sandra (Fry) Tuttle and husband Ron of Cherokee; a sister, Cris (Schenkel) Vetter and husband Bill of Muscatine; and a stepsister, Kimberly Sheffield and husband Dave of Eldridge. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Richard Fry and a stepsister, Krista Chase.
