Mary C. Yencsik
February 11, 2005 - December 5, 2005

Mary Yencsik MUSCATINE, Iowa #45;- Mary C. Yencsik, 86, Muscatine, died Monday, Dec. 5, 2005, at Lutheran Homes. There will be no visitation or services. Burial will be at a later date at the Rock Island Arsenal. Memorials may be directed to the Arthritis Foundation. The Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services is in charge of the arrangements. Mrs. Yencsik was born Feb. 7, 1919, in Ottumwa, the daughter of James Joseph and Fanny Ellen Feehan Glentzer. She married George Yencsik on April 25, 1946, in Ottumwa. He preceded her in death in August 2001. She worked at Ballban in Indiana making ponchos for the military and in Ottumwa she worked at the hospital as an aide. She enjoyed watching soap operas and the Chicago Cubs, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family. Survivors include two sons, Frederick L. Yencsik of Muscatine and Thomas D. Yencsik and wife Nancy of Hampton, Ill.; two daughters, Verna Ann Roth of Lake Forest, Ill. and Theresa Helen Schultz of Waukegan, Ill.; five grandchildren, Jessica, Ben, Steven, Amanda and Douglas; three brothers, James Glentzer and wife Wanda of Pleasantville, John Glentzer of Florida and Gene Glentzer of Florida; and two sisters, Kathryn Riggs of South Bend, Ind. and Helen Musselman of Tucson, Ariz. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; three brothers, Raymond, Leo and Francis; and a sister, Mable.

"Sorry to hear about your mom Fred. I don't know if you were awair that Dick passed away Sep 20th 2005.had alot of good times. Dick was verry fond of your mothers cherry pies you brought to the picnics. She was a wonderful lady to know,with love darlene nelson 1226 circle dr. dewitt ia 51742. I know its a little late but I just found this out."
