"Dear Roberta, Bob and Family, I do not know what to say; however, I want you all to know that I love you all--and that your family holds a dear and precious part of my heart. I cannot imagine what all of you are experiencing. I remember Adam as a vivacious toddler chasing Amy and following her everywhere. He was an adorable toddler--sweet, funny and unafraid. When you, Bob and Adam moved to Dallas from NY, you were teaching at Shearith preschool. I guess that I was somewhat of a tardy mom, because as Reuben's teacher, you reached out to me, and offered to pick my children up to take them to Shearith and bring them home. If I remember correctly, Adam's daycare was close to my home. My home was somewhere in the middle, but the nice thing was--that you, Bob, Adam (obm) and Renee, Ryan and Blair were frequent flyers. I remember your loving parents--also of blessed memory, Sam and Lillian and Bob's mother, Bessie (obm) visiting often. I am certain that Adam raised the bar for his younger brothers. Adam was a mensch--a good sense of humor, a twinkle in his beautiful eyes and practiced the chesed that he innately was blessed with. How happy he was when you selected one of Bagel's puppies--Rocky? This is an inconceivable loss for all of us who knew him as he grew from childhood to adulthood. To say that I will never forget him is a promise. He was a gift to the world--and to all of us who knew him over the years. Condolences are never enough--I am sending you all my love. May Adam's memory be for a blessing. Love, Linda"
