Betty L Minor
September 1, 1924 - March 23, 2021

Betty L Minor, 96, passed away, peacefully, on March 23, 2021.She was born in Douglas,Wyoming to Commodore Oscar and Dessie Mabel Wysong. She graduated from Converse County High School in 1942. Shortly after graduation she moved to Bothell, Washington, where she spent most of the next 78 years of her life.
In 1962 she married Morris Minor. They spent four years at the Tok border station in Alaska, on the AlCan Highway.
Morris died in 1983 and Betty spent her remaining years in Bothell.
She was an avid and excellent quilter, winning many awards for her skills. She also made many quilts which were raffled off, the proceeds going to various emergency services organizations.
Betty traveled, twice, to Europe to visit her son, Michael, and had the opportunity to see many countries. She also made several trips to Hawaii.
The past ten plus years found Betty's home at Woodland Terrace, in Bothell where she enjoyed her life and made many friends.
She is survived by her daughter, Sharon Board, her son Michael Minor (Ann), and grandchildren Deanna Board-Goldsby (Mel), Tony Board (Rem), Nick Board, Kelly Board, Candy Board, Jami Locke, Geoff Minor, Melissa Minor, and Stephen Minor. She also had 14 great-grandchildren, and five. great-great grandchildren. This matriarch will be sorely missed by her family and loved ones.
A memorial service will be held at a future date, when relatives and loved ones are able to attend.
