"Laura was a great lady of faith! Her love for her Lord Jesus showed in her compassion and kindness for others. She tried to remember EVERYONE's birthdays with a card or a little gift just to let them know that they were "special" and "remembered". We were the happy recipients of her loving ways with many a birthday card or gift and we can still remember those wonderful banana breads that she made for us! She loved helping others. And she loved her Lord Jesus. So many times she told us that when she suffers she just remembers how Jesus suffered for her and it makes her suffering seem as nothing. What a wonderful example of a Christian woman! We know her family will miss her terribly and there are many of us, her dear friends, who will miss her as well. We will be anxious to see her again in Heaven--I think she will say "Oh Elva, you've just got to see this"! Our love and sympathy to her family members whom she loved so dearly! Laura, you will be missed SO VERY MUCH! Paul and Elva Crist"

"I would like to extend our deepest condolences to the Broderson Family. I met Laura when Roy was in the hospital and kept in touch with her through correspondence for some time after. She was a truly lovely person and always had a positive message to share and brighten the day. She shared wonderful cards and letters with me, including day to day happenings and inspirational messages. We should all aspire to be more like her, as she was one of the most caring women I have ever met. I was blessed to have known her. May she be at peace. Our sympathy to the family. David & Ginni Cooper (Ginni is the cousin of Joy Broderson Lamp). "
