In loving memory of

Frank J. Wearshing
July 28, 1935 - April 25, 2021

Frank J. Wearshing, age 85, from Sewell, NJ, formerly of Somerdale, went to be with our Dear Lord on April 25, 2021.

Beloved husband of the late Marilyn F. (Nee Mustard). Devoted father of Debra S. Hampshire (Gary). Loving grandfather of Brittany E. Hagan (Connor). Great-grandfather of Lily Hagan.

Frank proudly serviced in the U. S. Army at Fort Riley, Kansas, and was honorably discharged in 1963. From there, he began his career as the Chief Architectural Engineer at Sterns Catalytic, which later became United Engineers and Constructors. Later he served as Assistant Chief Architect/Manager of Special Projects at Raytheon Engineers & Constructors, from where he retired in 1996 after more than 40 years of dedicated service. A man of great vision, talent, patience and integrity, Frank learned carpentry as a young boy from his grandfather and developed into an accomplished woodworking craftsman. He had a tremendous gift of bringing life to his buildings, conceiving concepts, developing projects and bringing renovations to creative fruition.

Frank was a long-time member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, serving as Treasurer and Communion Steward and on the Board. His love of music had him singing in the church choir and most always whistling his favorite tunes for those who were fortunate to spend time in his company. Frank enjoyed sports as a young boy, especially basketball, and, in his retirement, became an avid 76ers fan. After retirement, he served for several terms as the President of the Bridlewood Homeowners Association.

Frank found the most pleasure in life with his wife, Marilyn, to whom he was devoted through more than 60 years of marriage. Always walking hand in hand, we find peace in knowing they now walk hand-in-hand in heaven. Frank's was a life well-lived, and many were blessed to have known him. He will be missed dearly.

There will be a visitation on Thursday, April 29 from 10am to 11am at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 200 E. Clements Bridge Road, Runnemede, NJ 08078.

Funeral service 11am at the Church.

Interment is private at the request of the family.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in memory of Frank.
