SARA V. HOLTZ
MUSCATINE, Iowa - Sara V. Holtz, 59, of Muscatine, passed away on Sunday, April 25, 2021, at UnityPoint - Trinity Muscatine.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 6, 2021, in Greenwood Cemetery. Reverend Bruce Martin will officiate. The Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, the family would like you to do a good deed for a friend or neighbor in memory of Sara and her big heart. Sara was born on February 28, 1962, in Muscatine, the daughter of Verl L. and Mary Etta Fulliam Holtz.

Sara graduated from Muscatine High School and attended Muscatine Community College. She worked at Walmart for over 30 years where she enjoyed visiting with all of the customers. Sara had the biggest heart and would help anyone. She was very detail oriented and never missed a special date, acknowledging them all. Sara enjoyed reading her books, watching her TV shows, and listening to her country music.

Those left to honor her memory include her sisters, Jinny Silberhorn and her husband, George, of Boone, Iowa, Kathleen Selleh and her husband, Joe, of Fountain Valley, California, Jane Rockell and her husband, Gary, of Zionsville, Indiana; eight nieces and nephews; 23 great nieces and nephews; and her longtime special friend, Kevin West.

Sara is preceded in death by her parents.
