JOHANNAH A. REYES
MUSCATINE, Iowa - Johannah A. Reyes, 63, of Muscatine, passed away on Monday, April 26, 2021, at UnityPoint Hospital in Bettendorf.

A graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, May 3rd , 2021, in Greenwood Cemetery. Reverend Matt Haecker will officiate.

Visitation will be from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 2nd, 2021, at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home. Online condolences may be made at www.wittichfuneralhome.com.

Johannah was born on May 27, 1957, in Muscatine, the daughter of Gabriel and Darlene Martin Rivera Sr.

Johannah retired from the H. J. Heinz Company. She was a member of the First Baptist Church. Johannah loved spending time with family, especially her grandchildren.

Those left to honor her memory include her two sons, Mark Reyes and his wife, Lina, and Andrew Reyes and his wife, Andrea, all of Muscatine; four grandchildren, Emma, Sophia, Lola, and Roman; her previous husband, Toribio Reyes; her siblings, Gigi Rivera of Florida, Gabriel Rivera Jr. of Fredericksburg, Virginia, Joseph Rivera and his wife, Diane, of South Dakota, Juana Olea and her husband, Mario, of East Moline, Illinois; Daniel Rivera and his wife, Pamela, of Northfield, Minnesota, Gabriella Gomez and her husband, Jessie, of Muscatine, Matthew Rivera and his wife, Susanna, of Muscatine, Douglas Rivera and his wife, Kathy, of Bolingbrook, Illinois, and Jessica Dixon and her husband, James, of Muscatine; her step-mother, Julia Rivera of Muscatine; and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Gabriel and Darlene Rivera Sr.; and one brother, James Rivera.
