Cuba - Thomas V. Ashwood, 76, of Cuba, passed away at 4:40 am, Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at Graham Hospital in Canton. He was born on January 28, 1945 in Canton to Earl and Annabel (Fraley) Ashwood. He married Linda L. Foreman on June 24, 1972 in Canton. She preceded him in death on October 17, 2012. Also preceding him in death were his parents, one brother and two sisters. Surviving is one daughter Michelle (David W.) Ashwood Staley of Springfield, brother Robert Ashwood of Smithfield, three sisters; Daisey Baxter and Linda Smith both of Cuba and Hazel Henderson of Smithfield, one granddaughter, one grandson, three great-granddaughters and one great-grandson.
Thomas worked as a coal miner and farmer. He was a member of the Cuba Masonic Lodge, Cuba American Legion, Eastern Star of Cuba and the Moose in Farmington. He was an Army Veteran.
