Mildred Thurman
Norris - Mildred Thurman, 93, of Norris, passed away Wednesday, April 28, 2021, at her home in Norris.
She was born on October 26, 1927 in Norris to Lewis and Hermina (Frankowski) Ruggeri. They preceded her in death along with two brothers, Raymond, and Robert Ruggeri.
Mildred married Raymond Thurman. He preceded her in death on March 29, 2013.
She is survived by one daughter Katherine Ann Caffey of Colorado, two grandchildren, Raymond (Janet Priblo) Caffey of Pennsylvania, and Craig Caffey of Colorado, three great grandchildren, Alexis, Kalev and Hosh and many nieces and nephews and a very special great niece Loretta McIntire.
Milly retired from Joes Place in Norris after many years of service. She enjoyed puzzles and in her later years grew very found of her many cats. Throughout the years she has always been an animal lover, she loved people and has never met a stranger. Milly was a wonderful Mother, grandmother, aunt and friend to all her family and friends.
Cremation rites will be accorded. A scattering of her ashes will take place at her home in Norris on Tuesday May 4, 2021 at 6:00 p.m.
