February 2, 1970 - April 14, 2006

Todd Stratton MUSCATINE, Iowa -- Todd A. Stratton, 36, Muscatine, died Friday, April 14, 2006, as a result of a motorcycle accident. Funeral Service will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, April 21, 2006, at the Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services, 2907 Mulberry Ave. Casket bearers are Rex "Dozer" Solomon, Ed "EZ" Zeman, Nicc Millage, Don "Lippy" Hudson, Kyle "Sarge" Geertz and Bob "BooBoo" Steahr. Burial will be at Muscatine Memorial Park Cemetery. After the burial, a time of food and fellowship will be held at the Eagles Lodge, Muscatine. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Thursday, April 20, 2006, at the funeral home. A memorial has been established at the funeral home. Mr. Stratton was born Feb. 2, 1970, in Muscatine, the son of Raymond G. and Clara Newcomb Stratton. His dreams as a child were to drive a semi and be a cowboy; throughout his lifetime he achieved both. One of these dreams was fulfilled while he worked as a cowboy on a Cattle Ranch in New Mexico. The other was while he was employed as a truck driver for various companies. Most recently, he was employed in the construction industry. He was a member of the Sons of Silence Motorcycle Club, where he was known as "Hoss." He was also a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and playing his guitar and harmonica. Survivors include his mother; a son, Ben Geertz; four brothers, Larry Stratton and wife Debbie, Harold "Fritz" Stratton and Fred Stratton, all of Muscatine, and Jason Stratton and wife Kathi of Grandview; a sister, Connie Reynolds; a brother-in-law, Rodney Reynolds; two nephews, Jesse Reynolds and Nicholas Stratton; and two nieces, Alexandra Stratton and Katie Pedersen. He was preceded in death by his father in 1999.
