In loving memory of

Mary Anne Mogensen
November 6, 1961 - April 26, 2021

Mary Anne Mogensen, of North Wales, entered into eternal rest on Monday, April 26, 2021, at Doylestown Hospital after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. She was 59 years old.

She was born in Philadelphia, the daughter of Teresa (Belsak) Hoffman and the late Robert A. Hoffman, Jr.

Mary Anne was a 1980 graduate of Wissahickon High School, where she was the first female golfer. With her natural people skills and positive personality, she was a perfect fit for her job as Service Desk Coordinator at Marshalls in Montgomeryville, where she worked for almost 40 years. Mary Anne was actively involved with community service. She spent 10 years with the Colmar Volunteer Fire Company Fire Police as a Lieutenant. For the past twenty years, she has been a Charter and Life Member of the Fire Department of Montgomery Township, where she served as a Sergeant with the Fire Police. Mary Anne was also a member of the Montgomery County Fire Police Association. She was proud to be the daughter, wife, and sister of military veterans.

She was a huge fan of all the Philadelphia sports teams, but, as was in her kind nature, she also cheered on the Pittsburgh Steelers. She loved the open road and riding as her husband's passenger on his motorcycle. Mary Anne was an avid reader, especially when she had a good beach book while on vacation in Ocean City, MD.

Family was always first with Mary Anne, and she treasured time spent with her four grandchildren.

Mary Anne is survived by the love of her life and husband of 39 years, John H. Mogensen. She is the devoted daughter of Teresa (Belsak) Hoffman of Lansdale; and the dearly loved mother of Michalene "Mickey" O'Mara (Tim) of New Berlin, Wisconsin; Kathryn (Katie) Rosenberg (Randy) of Hatfield, PA; and Paul R. Mogensen (partner) Cheryl Chamberlain) of Levittown, PA. She is the proud and devoted Mom-Mom to Malcolm, Daniel, Aralyn, and Orion. Mary Anne is also survived by her brothers Robert A. Hoffman (Nancy) of Murfreesboro, TN; Patrick J. Hoffman (Stacey) of Lower Providence, PA; and Chris A. Hoffman (Krissy) of Annapolis, MD.

Relatives and friends are invited to call on Thursday, May 6, 2021, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at St. Stanislaus Church, 51 Lansdale Avenue, Lansdale, PA 19446, and again on Saturday, May 8, 2021, from 12:00 to 1:00 PM. Mary Anne's Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1:00 PM by Pastor Sean P. English. Interment will be private.
