Marie Kolz
January 24, 1929 - April 30, 2021

Marie Kolz, of Antigo, died Friday, April 30, 2021, at The Bay at Eastview Medical and Rehabilitation Center. She was 92 years old. She was born on January 24, 1929, in the town of Polar a daughter of Frank and Frances (Kohler) Muench. She married Robert Kolz on August 14, 1948, at St. Rose Catholic Church in Milwaukee. He preceded her in death on August 8, 2011.

She was a graduate of Antigo High School with the class of 1947.

Marie was a waitress at Farmers Home and Bird of Paradise in Antigo. She was also a sales clerk at Snyder Drugs.

She was a member of the Leland Tollefson Veterans of Foreign War Auxiliary Unit 2653, Antigo and the Senior Citizens Club.

She enjoyed trips to the casino and loved to play Zonk with friends. She was a proud grandmother who cherished time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Survivors include two daughters, Renee Kolz and Cheryl (David) Elam; three sons, Rodney (Sharon) Kolz, Randy Kolz all of Antigo, Tom Kolz of Milwaukee; three grandchildren, Tiffany (Paul) Thomae of Antigo, Justin Elam of Merrill and Teddy Kolz of Antigo; three great-grandchildren, Logan and Colton Thomae and Addyson Elam; a brother, Aloysius (Shirley) Muench of Pelican Lake; and other relatives and friends.

In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by four sisters, Bernadine Walker, Lorraine Mundt, Esther Bera and Clara Pesl; three brothers, Clarence Muench, Clayton Muench, and Frank Muench, Jr.

A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, May 5, 2021, at 11:30 a.m. at SS Mary & Hyacinth Catholic Church with Rev. Charles Hoffmann officiating. Entombment will take place in Queen of Peace Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Bradley Funeral Home
