Sandra Louise Curry of Runnells Iowa, born October 1, 1949, passed away surrounded by family on April 30 2021 due to complications of pancreatic cancer. She is survived by three children; Christopher (Tami) Curry of Hartford, Stacy (Mark) Armstrong of Runnells, and Chad (Mary) Curry of Altoona; three sisters, Sharon Yazel of Mitchellville, Marcia Lane of Runnells, and Bonnie Jones of Des Moines, 12 grandchildren and six great grandchildren, many nieces,nephews, and many friends. She will also be missed by her longtime friend Jim Frist. Sandi is preceded in death by her parents James and Sally West, brother Jimmie Dean West, and grandson Bryson James Curry.
Sandi Loved being with family, spending time outdoors, gardening,watching birds and camping, she was extremely artistic and enjoyed decorating for holidays, (especially Halloween), and she also made delicious chicken and noodles, chili, and cherry cheesecake.
You are loved and will be missed. Wishing you nothing but blue skies from now on!
The family will greet friends on Sunday, June 6, 2021 from 1:00 - 4:00 pm at the Runnells Community Center.
