Dale St Clair Jr.
Canton-Dale Wilber St. Clair Jr., 85 of Canton passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 2, 2021 while staying with his daughter in North Richland Hills, TX.
He was born on March 4, 1936 in Canton to Dale and Dorothy (Suydam) St.Clair. He married Joyce Eileen Kruzan on December 24, 1956. Joyce passed away July 4, 2013. Dale was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters Shirley Beecham and Patricia Knowles.
Dale or "Junior" as many knew him, served in the U.S. Air Force after graduating High School and was stationed in Las Vegas, NV. He returned to Canton to take over the family grocery business. He owned the St. Clair's Food Store on 5th Avenue until he sold it in 1972. After working for Caterpillar for a few years, Dale started Canton Pest Control and Lawncare which he owned and operated until he retired in June 2006.
Dale was a lifetime member of the Masonic Lodge, a Master Mason for over 50 years and enjoyed golfing, bowling and playing cards with family and friends. He loved visiting and playing with his eight grandchildren and eight great-grandkids.
He is survived by his three children, Doug St. Clair, Amber (David) Gabrielson and Charles (Michelle) St. Clair; eight grandchildren, Trina, Brandon, Leslie, Andrew, Samuel, Natalie, Ryan and Henry; eight great-grandchildren, Bryanna, Brytnee, Zachary, Keegan, Laela, Brady, Easton and Nyomi.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 8, 2021, from 11:00 to 1:00 at Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton with funeral services immediately following. Burial will be at White Chapel Memory Gardens in Canton.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Parkinson's Foundation or the charity of the donor's choice.
