In loving memory of

Jason D. Capehart, Sr.
September 6, 1978 - April 30, 2021

It is with a deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend, Jason Capehart, Sr. He left us all way too soon on Friday, April 30th, at his home in Glendora, NJ.

Jason was the proud father of Alyssa and Jason Jr. They were his world and he loved them more than words can say. It was his children that gave him his greatest joy and continuously drove him to want to be a better version of himself each day.

He also recently celebrated one of the most important moments of his life when he married his wife, Jennifer. Her love and devotion to him and their family brought out the best in him and the addition of his stepchildren, Sean, Alyssa, and Justin, made his life that much more meaningful.

Jason was also adored by his mother, Anna Marie "Nancy" Williams; his sisters Traci (Jim) and Kelli; and his brothers John (Tammi) and Raymond (Monica). His absence from their lives will leave a hole that can never be filled. Jason was also predeceased by his father, Raymond Garrison.

He was also a mighty force in the lives of his nieces: Ashley, Kayla, Michelle, Elaina, and Aubrey and his nephews: Steven, Jimmy, Raymond, Matt, and Danny. His influence in their lives will never be forgotten.

Jason was a devoted member of the Lynmar Builders team and our family will be forever grateful to them for their kindness and support.

Jason's gifts, talents, and unbelievable humor touched the lives of many people. He loved his Eagles. He loved to cook. He loved to create and to build. But, most of all, he loved to be with his family and friends making them laugh like no one else could.

Jason will be dearly missed but forever in our hearts.

There will be a viewing from 11am to 1pm Monday, May 10th at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, RUNNEMEDE.

Funeral service 1pm at the funeral home.

Interment is private at the request of the family.

Donations may be made in Jason's memory to the Jen and Jason Capehart's Children Fund by visiting Go Fund Me: https://gofund.me/0959b8b0

"Heaven might have gained an angel but we lost one. Truly a giver to all. Jason was ALL about family. The biggest quality I noticed first. Would never miss an event, births, birthdays, marriages, graduations? He was the life of the party. A personality like no other. He would give the shirt off his back if you needed it (even that bright yellow thing). The party didn?t officially begin until Jason was singing or dancing or running around a hotel in a diaper. No doubt that iconic moment is still talked about in Wildwood at the Fireman?s Convention to this day. Jason was a perfectionist, whether it was his job or his woodworking, his creative CAD drawings and designs or even if he was playing a video game?. It was done right or it wasn?t done. Jason was impressive. Everything he did was wow ?. You made that? Wow you designed that? So smart and self-taught at almost everything he did. I know I caused Jason a lot of pain and I lived with it and will live with it every day for the rest of my life. I could forgive myself a little when Jen came into his life, knowing he was happy and found love. People would ask, do you like Jen? My response would always be?. If my kids like Jen, then I like Jen. Jen has nurtured and cared for our children as her own and Jason would have had it no other way. Jason and Alyssa were his life. His greatest accomplishment and we all know that he has many many accomplishments but by far Jason and Alyssa are his greatest. He loved them both more than anything in this world. Jason and I NEVER disagreed when it came to what we wanted for our children. To go to college to be successful, be the boss. We raised smart beautiful loving children and we did it together to this day. Jason?s guidance and support and encouragement will be missed most. Maybe not his whistle or yells to embarrass the kids and God knows that I can?t talk Alyssa off the bridge like he could. But I find comfort in the fact that we were always in agreement about our kids and that I can say without a doubt Dad would have said this or Dad would have told you that. He was so proud of Jason?s musical accomplishments and knew he was destined for greatness. Mad that Alyssa knew more about technology than he did these days. Jason was who you called if you couldn?t figure out your cell phone or your computer crashed. This loss will leave a hole in the heart of everyone who knew him that will never heal. Jason was a constant always there, always ready to help even if you didn?t ask. Life will never be the same. "

"On behalf of the entire Altomonte?s family, we are so very sorry for your loss, we are all heartbroken as well. Jason built our store, with such pride, perfection and always a smile. Everyone loved him. He was a great communicator, joyful to work with and just such a great guy. Jason often spoke about Alyssa & Jay, he was so proud, his love was apparent in his eyes. I remember this one day, he had just said, ?be careful the concrete is wet.? Not realizing I walked right over the top of tarp into the newly laid slab! I had to take three steps to get out, making deep footprints all the way. He just shook his head, smiled, grabbed a trowel and began to fix it. As long as his punch lists were and the responsibility he had to make sure everything was perfect and everyone was happy, his kindness and smile never faltered. You?re all in our prayers, we are so deeply heart broken and sorry. ? Rest In Peace, Jason. ?"
