Joan J. Moffit (nee Helinek), on May 9, 2021, of Runnemede, originally from Philadelphia. Age 83.
Beloved wife of 61 years to the late George. Devoted mother of George, Jr. (Maria), Debbie and the late Michael. Cherished grandmother of Jennifer and Christopher. Soon to be Great grandmother of Kaylyn Rose in July. Dear sister of Robert Helinek of Runnemede (the late Lori). Also survived by niece Laurie Ann Helinek- Hummel, nephew Bobby Helinek and her family and friends.
Joan is at peace with her love of 61 years and her son.
She loved BINGO and going to the casinos. Joan enjoyed going out to dinner when she wasn't cooking or baking - she didn't know how to cook for 3 or 4 people, she always cooked for an army. Most of all, Joan enjoyed spending time with her husband and children.
There will be a visitation from 6pm to 8pm on Friday as GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, RUNNEMEDE.
Memorial service 8pm at the funeral home for both Joan and her husband George, who died on December 4, 2020 but the family could not gather at the time.
Interment private.
