Bobby Ritchie
March 10, 1955 - May 11, 2021

Bob Ritchie died suddenly at his home in Byron, Minnesota on May 11, 2021 at the age of 66 years.

Bob was born on March 10, 1955 to Bob D. Ritchie and Laraine Goebel Ritchie in Fairmont, Minnesota. He attended Rochester Central Lutheran School grades 1 through 8 and graduated from John Marshall High School in 1973.

Bob worked for a period of time at Adamson's and the Tile Shop and worked for 20 years at J. C. Penney and 21 years at Sam's Club. He retired on April 30,2021.

He married Mary Reiland and they were later divorced.

He enjoyed fishing, bowling, golfing, his dog Rachel and cat Kalua.

Bob is survived by one daughter Anna (Alex) Plumlee, grandson Henry of Oregon, mother Laraine Ritchie, of Rochester, Uncles Marvin Goebel of Fairmont, Minnesota, Rev. Velmer (Lori) Goebel of Enid, Oklahoma, Aunts Elaine Fjelsrud of Armstrong, Iowa, Marlys Goebel of Minneapolis, Minnesota, number of cousins and many friends. He was preceded in death by his dad, Aunt Janice Goebel and Uncle Helmer Fjelsrud.

Memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 17, 2021 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 222 6th Ave. SW, Rochester, MN 55902 with Rev. Joel Haak and Rev. Scott Fiege officiating. Visitation will be held 4:00-6:00 p.m. Sunday, May 16, 2021 at Trinity Lutheran Church and one hour prior to the service on Monday. Memorial contributions may be made to Rochester Central Lutheran School, 2619 9th Ave. NW, Rochester, MN 55901 or to Mt. Moriah Lutheran Church, 923 2nd Ave. NW, Byron, MN 55920. Due to Covid-19, masks will be required and social distancing observed. The service will be livestreamed at www.trinitylutheranchurch.org/funeral
