Joan "Bunny" O'Malley (nee Evans), Age 84, of Runnemede, formerly of Glendora, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on May 12, 2021.

Beloved wife of the late Edward O'Malley. Devoted mother of Edward O'Malley (Noreen), Joan Spiers (The late Herbert), Maureen Bowie (Doug) and Patrick O'Malley (Terry). Loving daughter of the late Marie and Charles Evans. Dear sister of Marie Spingler and the late Charles Evans and Margaret Thompson. Grandmother of Sean Spiers, Jennifer O'Malley, Candace O'Malley, Shannon Bowie, Lauren Savage (Ryan), Edward O'Malley (Caitlin), Kristina Brennan, Ashley Bryson (Matt), Douglas Bowie (Veronica), Courtney Szovati (Chet), Michael O'Malley (Ken), Kate O'Malley (Egan), Patrick Spiers (Liz), Patrick O'Malley (Molly), Joey O'Malley, and the late Kevin Spiers. GG to Kevin, Rhae, Carson and Carter.

Joan was a member of The St. Teresa Altar and Rosary Society. She enjoyed gathering with seniors at St. Teresa's and making peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for the homeless. Joan was a proud member of Team Spiers who participated in the Home Cook Heroes at The Gift of Life Family House. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family.

There will be a viewing from 7:00pm to 9:00pm Thursday evening and from 10:45am to 11:45am on Friday morning, May 21, 2021 at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, RUNNEMEDE.

Funeral Mass 12:30pm at Holy Child Parish, St. Teresa R.C.C., Runnemede.

Interment St. Joseph's Cemetery, Chews Landing.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Joan's memory to the Kevin P. Spiers memorial scholarship fund C/O Gardner Funeral Home, PO Box 288, Runnemede, NJ 08078 or The Gift of Life Family House 401 Callowhill St, Philadelphia, PA 19123.
