The Williams Family wrote on May 21, 2021:

"To Phyllis, Mike, Linda, Lisa, and the entire Weltzin Family, Sincerest condolences from me (Pete) and the entire Williams Family to you on your loss. So many great memories of Dick associated with hockey trips over the years. He was always so funny and good-natured. Dick was one of the few parents that let us listen to the "kids' radio stations" (like WDGY) on those long hockey trips. He had so many great stories to entertain us on those long trips. I especially remember riding in the Weltzin family station wagon all the way to Thief River Falls for the 1976 Pee Wee State Tournament. Great times! Dick was always so patient and great with all of us kids. He just seemed to enjoy life so much. His love and enjoyment of his family was always evident. Once again, sincerest condolences to the Weltzin family. Pete Williams"
