William D. "Billy" Klingenborg
November 24, 1957 - May 20, 2021

William D. "Billy" Klingenborg, 63, of Bristow, passed away Thursday, May 20, 2021, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City. He was born November 24, 1957, in Grundy Center, to William J. and Irene (Schrage) Klingenborg.

Billy attended Allison-Bristow High School. He was united in marriage to Julie Muller on March 22, 1975, at the Dumont Reformed Church in Dumont, Iowa To this union, three children were born. Billy was a member of the Dumont Reformed Church in Dumont. He enjoyed being a farmer, as well as riding and breaking horses. He also enjoyed fishing and spending time with his friends and family, especially his grandchildren.

Billy is survived by his wife Julie Klingenborg of Bristow; son William L. (Andrea) Klingenborg of Dumont, son Jason (Stephanie) Klingenborg of Clarksville and daughter Amy (Matt) Wubbena of Bristow; grandchildren Karlie (Cody), Madison (Trevor), Will, Colton ( Ellah), Trenton and Jaxson Klingenborg, Conner, Blake, and Lance Wubbena; sisters Diane Buss of Bristow and Donis (Kenny) Dralle of Allison; along with several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother-in-law Dennis Buss and niece Jennifer Dralle.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Monday, May 24, 2021, at the Dumont Reformed Church. Private family services will be held.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family at P.O. Box 403, Hampton, Iowa 50441.
