Mark Krotzer, age 42 years old, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 23, 2021, at Seasons Hospice after a courageous battle with kidney cancer.
Mark was born November 18, 1978 in Waconia, MN to Mark Dale and Deb (Stickney) Krotzer. He graduated from Delano High School and went on to Saint John's University in St. Joseph. Mark met the love of his life, Kristi Thorson, and they were married in Las Vegas on August 26, 1999. Married for 21 years, they made their life in Rochester, MN. They have three beautiful children together: Noel, David, and Owen. Mark was a highly motivated, driven leader, and had a successful career in Sales and Marketing. He got his start at Xerox and finished his career as Director of Regional Sales at Loffler Companies. Mark loved going to Minnesota Vikings games with friends and family. He also enjoyed anything Star Wars, learning about technology, and going on vacations with Kristi and their kids. Mark loved the Lord and was a member of Christ Community Church.
Mark is survived by his loving wife, Kristi; children, Noel, David, and Owen; parents, Mark Dale and Deb; brothers, Jacob (Brenda) and Andrew; mother-in-law, Judy Thorson as well as aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. Mark was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Glenn Thorson.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at Christ Community Church, 4400 55th Street NW Rochester, MN 55901. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Private family burial will be at Oakwood East Cemetery.
