MUSCATINE, Iowa - Judith M. Braun, 81, of Muscatine, passed away on Tuesday, May 25, 2021, at Lutheran Homes.
Graveside service will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 29, 2021, at Greenwood Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Stephen Braun, Michael Braun, Matthew Braun, Mark Braun, Jacob Braun, Samuel Braun, and Levi Braun. The Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Judy was born on May 28, 1939, in Muscatine, the daughter of Claude E. and Ruth C. Heuer Figgins. She married Loren L. Braun on December 29, 1956, in Muscatine. He preceded her in death.
Judy worked as a teacher's aide. She enjoyed going to Ziegler Memorial and Shepherd of the Cross Lutheran Churches. Judy enjoyed cooking, traveling, and being with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Those left to honor her memory include her children, Stephen Braun of Jefferson, Georgia, Michael Braun, and his wife, Pam, of Columbus Junction, Susan Morgan of Muscatine, Matthew Braun and his wife, Lea, of Sycamore, Illinois, and Mark Braun and his wife, Sara, of Clive; 18 grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren.
Judy is preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Loren.
