MUSCATINE, Iowa - Bette M. Logel, 97, of Muscatine, passed away on May 24, 2021, at Lutheran Living.
A memorial service will be at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, August 19, 2021, at Zion Lutheran Church. Burial is at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 20, 2021, at the Rock Island National Cemetery. The Ralph J. Bette was born on December 4, 1923, in Muscatine, the daughter of Lester and Alice Holzhauer Lamb. She married Leroy Logel on April 3, 1943, in Muscatine.
Bette was a member of Zion Lutheran Church. She loved to do puzzles and read. Bette enjoyed collecting Annalee dolls.
Those left to honor her memory include her children, Carol Bream and her husband, Philip, of Holt, Florida, and Marvin Logel of Bonita Springs, Florida; one grandchild; three great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.
Bette was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two brothers, Robert Lamb and Raphael Lamb; and two sisters, Ruby Wildman and Ila Baer.
