"I will always remember how Uncle Johnny lit up the room with love and laughter when he entered. From the time I was little, visiting at Grandma and Grandpa Vanderstelt's place, until just recently when he teased me about my political views, he never waivered in showing his love and acceptance. I will be eternally grateful for my dad's little brother, and will miss him. But for him, I am happy that he is now with his parents, Buffi, and his brothers and sisters who went before him. I know it was a joyous reunion. I hope this thought gives you some comfort, Aunt Joyce. "
