July 2, 1982 - June 3, 2021
Vanessa "Vane" Charles passed away at the age of 38 on June 3, 2021, at her home surrounded with her loved ones.
Vanessa was born July 2, 1982, in Veracruz, Mexico, to Josefina and Antonio Charles.
She graduated in 2000 from North Dallas High School. She had known Jose Alfredo Martinez since they were teenagers and they later got married in 2007. They both had two beautiful and loving kids together, Evelyn and Alfredo.
Vanessa worked as an office manager at Lakewood Family Health. Everyone that knew her, knew how big her heart was and how special she made us all feel with her love. She was a noble person, always willing to give more than what was asked of her. She is survived by her husband and two kids.
Vanessa was first diagnosed with stage IV colon cancer in February 2021. It brings me comfort to know that she is no longer suffering in pain. She is with our creator and heavenly father. We will continue to honor her legacy by living our best life, being kind to one another and always giving back the way she would.
There will be a rosary/ viewing on June 7, 2021, from 6pm-10pm at San Juan Diego Catholic Church and the mass/ funeral will take place on June 8 at 10 am. We ask that all friends and family join us to celebrate her life.
