"We have had the good fortune of being Tony and Sue?s neighbors since 4-86. We became friends and Tony became the ?go-to? guy for solutions to electrical problems, general advice, etc. He and Sue eventually became the ?snow removal team?. Just some of the examples of their giving nature. To me the best example of Tony?s selflessness occurred on 10-3-2019. It was about 10:30pm when my wife, Maru, noticed I was showing stroke symptoms. Scared, she called Tony, who then called 9-1-1. When the EMTs arrived ---- there, in the background, was Tony?s comforting presence. He drove Maru to the hospital and was in the ER when I was logged in at 12:03am. Tony was there when they wheeled me away to the OR to bust the clot and remove its remnants. When I returned, hours later, Tony was still there with Maru. It was past 3am. When he was finally assured that I was well on my way to full recovery, he left. It was close to 4am. It was a horrific ordeal for us. It was a time when survival and the return to normalcy, were uncertain. Maru and I will be forever grateful for the comfort his presence provided. Tony was a man with a truly generous nature. He was our friend! He will be sorely missed. Maru and Dick"
