In loving memory of

Denise DiFeo
August 29, 1952 - June 9, 2021

Denise DiFeo, of Ambler, died Wednesday, June 9, 2021 at the Abington Hospice at Warminster, her loving family by her side. She was 68 years old.

Born in Philadelphia, Denise was the daughter of the late Pasquale "Pat" and Delores (Pacelli) DiFeo.

Ms. DiFeo was a graduate of Upper Dublin High School. She earned an Associate of Applied Science Degree and worked for several years as a Pharmacy Technician. Denise's true passion was for the outdoor world, and she was a talented gardener.

Denise was a very private person, but with her charismatic personality, she was surrounded by her longtime friends. She was a spiritualist with a holistic approach to life. Denise explored universal energy through the practice of reiki, and had the gift of being able to read other's auras. She relaxed by crocheting.

Denise had a great love for her family and is survived by her siblings, Antonia "Toni" Cashore (Donald); Pat Joseph DiFeo of Bellwood, PA; Patrice Christiansen of Ambler; and Bryan DiFeo (Christa) of Lansdale. She is the dear Aunt of Karin Christiansen, Danielle DiFeo, Joseph DiFeo, and great aunt of Mia Fabrizio.

Memorial donations to a charity of your choice or to the Mattie N. Dixon Community Cupboard, 150 N. Main St. P.O. Box 367, Ambler, PA 19002 https://community-cupboard.org/ would be appreciated by the family.

"This past week Denise has been in my thoughts so deeply and sharing more memories seems to help me through these feelings of loss. I have started going through old photo albums, dusted off an old shoebox full of all our old class notes passed in high school and yes, I actually still have them. In my favorite recipe collections I have one that Denise hand wrote for me in 1974. Over the years I have baked this cake and on those occasions she found a way to still be a part of my life. I made this cake just a few months ago and took a photo of it. I?m sharing this with you today in memory of Denise. ?Bonne Chance? as Denise had written. Suzanne Anderson Terrell "

" Where did our 60?s go? Nise, that was Denise?s nickname chosen by me and our close friends in our early years. So many crazy, wonderful memories of Denise in high school in the 60?s and now I?m reminiscing those memories in our 60?s. Denise and I got into our share of trouble in those days, smoking in the bathroom, skipping school, suspensions and just being stupid boy crazy. Sneaking out on school nights was the best, but one night Denise?s neighbor saw her walking up her long driveway about 5 a.m. and ratted us out. It was a long time before her mother forgave me and let us hang out together again, though of course we still did. Denise drove this huge tank of a car, a Buick Electra 225. When she wasn?t working at her Dad?s business after school we would spend hours driving around with our friends. We would hang out in the parking lot across from Ferla?s in Ambler or sometimes head to the old 309 Diner in Montgomeryville for the best hot sticky buns. Denise loved astrology and to read tarot cards. She was very spiritual, a great listener and a wonderful friend. We were close for many years following graduation. She was my Maid of Honor, spent many vacations on the beach with me in Florida and was such a big part of my early married life. But, life has a way of changing courses on us and with the years that followed we slowly took other directions. I have not seen Denise for many, many years though I did reach out a few times but our paths were not meant to cross. I always had hope that one day we would reunite, but Denise would have said, ?It wasn?t in the stars?. I will just have to wait to see her in heaven. Please accept my deepest condolences. "Dear Toni, Butch, Patrice, and Bryan, I am very sorry to hear about Denise. I was shattered when I heard she was ill. I will always treasure the memories I built with all of you and your mother. I will miss her and I do hope she is no longer in any pain and just in Heaven enjoying life with your mom and dad now. God Bless and I will keep all of you in my thoughts and prayers. I was stunned when Danielle told me she was so sick. Take care and I love you all always. "
