Jack McCabe
November 15, 1941 - June 19, 2021

Jack McCabe, of Pelican Lake, died unexpectedly Saturday, June 19, 2021, at home. He was 79 years old. He was born on November 15, 1941, in Milwaukee, a son of Donald and Ruby (Hanson) McCabe. He married Lorraine Dryden on June 16, 1962, at Grand Forks, North Dakota. She survives.

He graduated from Elcho High School and went on to serve in the United States Air Force for eight years having been trained as a dental technician.

Following military service he was employed in the finance industry working the longest tenure for Wisconsin Finance in Rhinelander as a manager. He retired in 1997.

Jack enjoyed golfing, fishing, hunting and following the Green Bay Packers.

Survivors including his wife are two sons, Donald McCabe, Appleton, Stephen (Lisa) McCabe, Lakemoor, Illinois; a daughter, Susan (Bill) Sattler, Appleton; a granddaughter Ellen Sattler; three brothers, Milton (Kathy) McCabe, Elcho, Michael (Honey) McCabe, Elcho, Patrick (Karen) McCabe, St. Germaine.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Dona Zautner; two brothers Roger and Ralph McCabe.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 24, 2021, at 11 a.m. at Bradley Funeral Home Hwy 45, Antigo. Burial will take place in Elcho Cemetery where the Elcho Veterans will conduct military honors.

Visitation will be 9:30 a.m. until the time of services on Thursday at the funeral home.
