CLARKSON VALLEY, Mo. -- Phyllis B. Cone (Brookhart), 78, died, after a long illness, Wednesday, May 16, 2007. Interment will be in the Conesville Cemetery. Contributions may be made to Kirk of the Hills Presbyterian Church or the Alzheimer's Association. Mrs. Cone was born April 14, 1929, in Muscatine. She was a member of Kirk of the Hills Presbyterian Church and was active in West County Garden Club. She is survived by her husband, Dick Cone; her two children, Jared (Lynn) Cone and Beth (Dr. Glenn) Preston; her grandchildren, Amanda, Daniel, Caleb and Matthew Cone andLuke (Veronica), Grace, Mercy and Peace Preston; and her sister, Sylvia Barr of New Liberty, Iowa. She was preceded in death by her parents, Laurence and Garnet Brookhart; and a sister Retha Waltman.
