MUSCATINE, Iowa - Michael 'Mike' Delbert Lobdell, 62, of Muscatine, passed away on Friday, July 2, 2021, at Premier Estates.
A graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 20, 2021, in the Montpelier Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will be held from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. following the service at New Era Lutheran Church. The Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements. Mike was born on December 16, 1958, in Davenport, the son of Delbert Leroy and Dorothy Jean Richardson Lobdell. He married Deborah 'Debbie' Muhs on September 15, 1978.
Mike drove truck for Lobdell Trucking. He worked for Brammers Manufacturing, Heinz, and Crossroads. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and loved spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Debbie Lobdell of Muscatine; children, Heather Rickey and husband, Jacob, and Christopher Lobdell, both of Muscatine; son-in-law, Lee Dengler of Muscatine; five grandchildren, Kenadie Lee, Wyatt Dengler, Austin Rickey, Aiden Rickey, and Hunter Lobdell; and sister, Michelle Hopp and husband, John, of Davenport.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his daughter, Tiffany Dengler in April 2021; brother, Jeff Lobdell; and sisters, Tina Tyler, and Susan Ramirez and husband, Gene.
